Court Carnival!

Okay, so remember way back when I mentioned Morgan and I are the Resident Assistants for our Court (4 buildings of student family apartments that face into a courtyard)? Well, one of our responsibilities is to host an activity once a month. I love it! It's my favorite part of the job. In August we held a Court Carnival which was a huge success! We had over 90 people attend! Wahoo! :) There were carnival games for the kids, popcorn, sno-cones, cotton candy, face painting, and a raffle. We had a blast. Here are some iPhone pics.

Squirt gun race!

Yummy sno-cone

The raffle booth...I suckered people into updating their emergency cards by bribing them with prize baskets. You got an entry in the raffle if you verified or updated your card. They were pretty sweet baskets!

Our awesome neighbors, the Griffiths, manned the sno-cone booth. It doesn't look very busy, but I promise that table was swarmed with people the whole time!

Some of the lovely ladies of our Court.

Rachel and Noah at the fish pond...with Tricia helping out!

Rachel and me with our awesome cat faces.

And last but not least, I was the lucky one to do the face painting. We stuck to simple shapes!
