Stephanie Andreasen, you've inspired me. I am making a "To-Do" list of sorts...things I want to do before Fall is upon us. So here ya go!
1. Learn how to knit.
2. Learn how to use a sewing machine. (for the millionth time! eek!)
3. Make something by knitting or sewing. (go figure.)
4. Read a few books. (Currently reading, "The Friday Night Knitting Club"...hmmmm maybe that is why I want to learn to knit.)
5. Visit church history sites.
6. Design a vintage photo session with models, props and authentic clothing. I'm VERY excited for this one.
7. Have a picnic with Morgan.
8. Go to the water park.
9. Buy a washing machine! (maybe this should be #1)
10. Continue writing my novel. Yes folks, I am finally doing it!
And for a quick update on our lives...Morgan is finishing up his summer clinical internship at Performance West Physical Therapy in Bountiful, UT. He has LOVED learning in a hands-on environment and is now an expert on balance and vestibular PT. I'm so proud of him! He is gone lot so I've been loving making yummy dinners for him and experimenting in the kitchen. I made a cake from scratch and some fabulous homemade cheesecake brownies. They were to DIE for, although the cake was kinda dry. Does anyone have any tips for making a moist cake at a high altitude?
I flew to Texas to spend some time with my family and will be here for a few weeks. It is wonderful to be with them, but I do miss Morgan a lot! Thank heavens for skype.
Here we are on our little day trip to Park City, UT. It was a very fun day...Morgan made a delicious picnic lunch (Turkey/Mozzerella sandwiches, veggie chips, grapes, string cheese, and even chocolate dipped strawberries!) and we read books and even threw the football. It was wonderful. :)
