Sometimes, particularly when I have a rather large paper to write, or an important exam to study for, I get the crafty-bug. All I want to do is stay home and be crafty and somehow make a living by pestering people into buying my handmade goods. Lately, I've been checking out all these blogs where women sell jewelry or greeting cards - things of that nature. I want to do that! I want to make adorable things and have people want them! How cool is that?
The other day I was talking to a woman whose daughter goes to the preschool where I work. She was waiting to pick up her child and was happily making little-girl hair bows...the really cute kind that I wish I could still get away with. The ribbons were to DIE for, and I could just imagine how amazing they would look on all the little girls in my Kindergarten. Then she told me it takes her about three weeks to fill an order (a local consignment store sells her hair-bows) and she makes over $1300! And WHY am I going to college? (Just kidding mom!)
So be on the lookout. I think I'm going to start making glorious little hand-made items that your life will not be complete without! Hopefully my grades won't suffer too much.

oooh...you crafty lady!
I also make the bows with the pony tails. So easy... you just tie ribbon in knots around the pony tail holder. They poke all around the pony tail and look so cute. They sell for $3-$5 a piece and take like cents to make when you buy in bulk!
