Today Morgan and I went to Taco Bell for lunch. I ordered my two-soft-tacos-no-lettuce-with-99-cent-nachos-on-the-side, excited for a Mexican feast! For some horrifying reason, the careless cashier didn't put my nachos on the order. Yes ladies and gentlemen, I was nacho-less. You'd think the world was about to come crumbling down! Partly due to my love for chips and cheese and partly due to a climbing level of estrogen, the waterworks started. We were on our way home when Morgan promptly flipped a U-ie and drove back to Taco Bell.
I insisted that it wasn't necessary, but my knight in shining armor went into that semi-decent quality fast food restaurant and retrieved my missing snack. As I sat in the car recouperating from my brief but ever present nacho withdrawal symptoms, I was reminded once again that showing someone you love them doesn't have to be an elaborate thing. It can be a ten-minute detour back to Taco Bell for a much desired pack of chips and cheese. Yay for love.
Speaking of love, we have set a date! We will be getting married on May 9, 2009.

have i told you how amazing you and morgan are? i am ridiculously happy for you. make that incredibly excited. actually i am ecstatic. OK, so i am as happy as i always hoped i would be for you as we stayed up late and talked about boys and the future when we were young and silly high school girls trying to sleep on gym floors and each others couches. Ah! i am so happy for you both :)
