So I think planning a wedding is really quite fun ~ minus the whole "make a million decisions" thing. I am probably the most indecisive person I know...and Morgan will back me up on that. I can't ever seem to make up my mind when it comes to what movie I want to watch, what I want to eat for dinner, etc. After spending 30 min trying to make a decision, I end up falling back on my defaults: Jr. Bacon Cheesburger plain (Wendy's), brownie cheesecake sundae (Artic Circle), chicken alfredo (Olive Garden), "Sweet Home Alabama," "You've Got Mail." I'm so predictable!
How do you know when you've found the right dress? How do you know if you want pink peonies AND roses in your bouquet? How do you know if you should get a white cake or green? I mean, really people. Who has a green wedding cake? Maybe I will. Maybe I won't. But you can definitely count on me to debate for hours and hours over it. :)
So here is your chance o ye readers of my blog. I need advice. Where do you find bridesmaids dresses? What's a good catering company? Know any cake-makers? Tux rentals? Florists? Please help your local indecisve Cate and she will be eternally grateful. :) In the meantime, enjoy this fabulous picture of pink peonies. They are just stunning.

Ahhhhhhhhhh, the peony. My most favorite flower in the whole world, that I have been pronouncing wrong my entire life!
It will all come together love.
All of the big stuff is done, ~ like daddy said "yes" ;) Love you sugar! Ma xoxoxo
My wedding cake was one of my FAVORITE things from my wedding. I just e-mailed my mom for the number of the lady who did it for me. She is AMAZING. Seriously, I can't say that enough. (If you want to see my cake you can look on facebook or blog)
I got my flowers at this place that looked like it came from a third world country. They were so, so cheap but they turned out perfect.
My neighbor is the caterer for Eaglewood Reception center. That's where I had mine. Go here to see: www.eaglewoodweddings.com/index.html
She does a great job and they are the nicest people. You should really check them out. I used to work there (in HS) and we did cater out to a few homes (if you don't want to have it there) It's the golf course country club so it has beautiful surroundings.
I'll give you the numbers when my mom e-mails me.
If you need a photographer, I went with Robert Dyer and he was so great. robertdyerphotography.com
I wish I could help more. Unfortunately, my wedding was cheap so we did a lot of stuff ourselves (We made the food, my mom made the cake, etc.) We did have someone do our decorations and stuff (and they were simple but elegant), so I can look up their number for you.
And as for dresses, I hope you're looked at all of your many options in Provo. It's the land of modest dresses, trust me! And when you've found the right one...you'll know.
David's bridal pulled this fam out of many jams. Allyson's bridal over in AF by Target has some stunning dresses in the window, though I've never been inside. Flowers....love Sweet Pea florist in AF. As far as cakes.....I have an expert friend on cakes I can pick her brain if you still are in need. This is the fun stuff....Emile is right...once you see the right one....you will know.
