I finally joined the rest of the twenty-first century and got an iPhone. We've been saving up for awhile to make this possible, which has been a wonderful thing for my business. It's so nice and convenient to be able to respond to client emails anywhere, as well as run my Etsy shop. I told Siri, "You're my best friend, Siri." To which she replied, "I don't really like these arbitrary categories, Cate." Oh Siri.
One other benefit of having an iPhone is having the ability to take fun pictures anytime I want without having to lug my behemoth of a camera around. It has been such a joy lately! Here is what we've been up to lately:
We've enjoyed lots of driving adventures to Grantsville and Wolf Creek to visit family. I just love the Utah landscapes! If we move out of state next year I will really miss the mountains.
In order from left/right, top/bottom:
1. I painted my nails a fun, girly pink and felt rather pretty.
2. I got really sick and laid in bed ALL day and Morgan took care of me. He made me Lipton soup and toast, which is the best when you're dying from nausea and achey-ness.
3. We've also enjoyed spending time with friends in our court (apartment complex). The Tams moved to Florida (they are in the middle) and we miss them already!
4. Lastly, I've been keeping busy with engagements, bridals, weddings, and family sessions. This was a shot right after my most recent bridal session at This is the Place Park. Love that location!
Mom & Dad Sheffer have a time share in Wolf Creek, UT. Morgan and I spent the night there over the weekend and loved getting time to spend with family. Here I am with some of my darling nieces. They really are SO fun. (You'll have to excuse my bedraggled appearance.) And Katherine, if you're reading this, ten points to me for using the word "bedraggled" in a sentence.
We went to Orem City Day's with Becky & Jordan's extended family. The parade was a blast...although it was freezing and WINDY. I couldn't believe how cold it was for the middle of June!
And finally, here are two of my favorite shots of the lake in Eden, UT. I wanted to lay on the beach and enjoy the sunshine all day! I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father for blessing us with such beauty on this earth. I am constantly in awe of His magnificent creations.
