WARNING: This post contains a LOT of pictures.
In August, Morgan and I traveled to Williamsburg, VA to attend my younger brother's wedding. We had a wonderful time visiting with family, partying at the wedding, touring around Washington D.C., playing at Busch Gardens, and throwing a little open house for the love birds. It was wonderful.
Morgan got really sick the day we left for Virginia. He slept for the first 24 hours we were there! Thank goodness for cold medicine.
Devin and me in the car after being picked up from the airport. :) Happy day!
Mom and I went to the Dollar Tree one day and noticed that they had already put out Christmas decor. Keep in mind that this was in early August!
My brother was getting rid of some old clothes and Morgan thought it would be funny to do a fashion show. I wish I could post the video because after this picture Morgan burst out in a Newsies song.
The happy day! You will have to stay tuned for more wedding pictures. :)
The morning after the wedding we had a delicious breakfast. This croissant was heavenly.
We also went to Cracker Barrel that day...I want one of those rocking chairs for my front porch one day!
One of the many hotel parking lots we stayed at during wedding week. Aren't we cute?
What fun!
Saying farewell to cousin Zoe.
Saying farewell to Aunt Katie!
Mom and Dad gave Morgan and me a gift card to Carrabba's for a date night...it was delicious and wonderful. I love going on dates with my sweetheart!
On our date we went across the street to The Christmas Store - a store that sells everything Christmas-y year round - AKA my heaven. I was absolutely giddy.
After the wedding festivites ended, Morgan and I went to DC with my dad. We had a marvelous time. This was at the Library of Congress. What an amazing building!
Morgan ate this entire Philly Cheesesteak. He was so happy.
Chinatown.
At the Natural History Museum...they had a glass room where you could watch the paleontologists work on fossils! It was really neat to see them at work. It must be so tedious!
This is what my dad would look like as a Neanderthal apparently.
Van Gogh
Picasso
No idea who this painter was, but it was a scene of people harvesting pumpkins, so I loved it.
My mom found this old note from me... "I love my mommy because she is nice to me!" No idea why I drew so many cats as a child...we didn't have one!
At Busch Gardens with the newlyweds!
On the Scrambler with my bro!
After their honeymoon, Kyle and Cait came home for an Open House that my parents hosted. I made a bajillion of my famous Oreo Truffles. And chocolate covered strawberries. YUM.
The spread. Yes those are Chickfila chicken nuggets.
Mr. and Mrs. Sheffer
